15 enthusiastic Faculty of Environment students from the University of Waterloo are preparing for their trip to Nepal. Our incredible journey from April 10th to May 4th 2012, will take us to the Base Camp at Mount Everest. Our group is researching environmental topics in the region of Nepal including: natural hazards, tourism, biodiversity, forestry, climate change, the impact that tourism has on the local culture and enviornmental business models.
